Privacy Policy

1. What we collect
Plio collects the minimum needed to operate the Service:
- Account info. Email, name, and password hash (handled via Supabase Auth — Plio never sees plaintext passwords). If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google profile email and name.
- Service usage. Which calls you subscribe to, when you connected to a live stream, which events you received. Standard request logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp) retained for security and abuse detection.
- Conversations with AI lenses. The text and audio you exchange with Plio lenses (Jensen Huang, Colette Kress, etc.) is logged so we can improve quality and debug issues.
- Contact-form submissions. Name, email, and message text from /contact and /feedback.
2. What we don't collect
Plio does not collect, process, or store any personally identifiable information beyond what's listed above. We do not use third-party tracking pixels, advertising cookies, or social-media SDKs.
3. How we use it
- To deliver the Service you signed up for.
- To improve attribution accuracy and AI-lens quality.
- To prevent abuse and respond to security incidents.
- To contact you about your account, billing, or material changes to the Service.
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers.
4. Sub-processors
Plio uses the following third-party vendors to operate the Service. Each has its own privacy commitments:
- Google Cloud Platform — application hosting (Cloud Run, Cloud Build, Artifact Registry).
- Supabase — authentication and database.
- Anthropic — speaker attribution model (Claude).
- AssemblyAI — live speech-to-text.
- ElevenLabs — voice synthesis for AI lenses.
- Google Gemini — voice interaction (chat with lenses).
5. Cookies and local storage
Plio uses one functional cookie (Supabase session) to keep you signed in across requests. We do not use marketing or analytics cookies.
Your subscriber API key (ek_*) is stored in your account and forwarded as a bearer token on each API request. Don't share it.
6. Your rights
You can request a copy of any personal data we hold about you, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete your account and associated data. Submit requests via the contact form. We respond within 30 days.
7. Data retention
Account info: kept while your account is active, plus 90 days after deletion (for backup retention and dispute resolution).
Service usage logs: 90 days.
Contact-form submissions: retained indefinitely unless you ask us to delete.
Earnings-call transcripts: retained as long as Plio operates the Service. These are derived from public broadcasts and are part of the product.
8. International transfers
Plio operates from the United States. Data is stored on US infrastructure. If you access the Service from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US. By using the Service you consent to this transfer.
9. Children
The Service is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email and posted on this page at least 14 days before taking effect.
